This is the lifestyle blog of me, Bridgette Fussey.
I am an upstate New York girl (born & raised), who met a Canadian hockey player who was just too good to pass up. We got married 4 years ago and now reside in Charleston, South Carolina. We have 2 boys, Noah and Landon. I may be partial, but they really are perfect.
I have been a registered nurse for 7 years and work full time at a local hospital here in Charleston. I love my job as a nurse, but I also have another side to me that has always been passionate, or I guess you could say ‘Fussey’, about everything fashion and beauty, which is why I decided to start this blog. I needed a creative outlet to share my story. This blog is a look behind the camera and into my life as a working mom. I am so excited to document our family milestones and travel, a glimpse into our home and personal style, and of course, all of my favorite fashion and beauty tips and tricks!
What I do
Nurse
My mother is a nurse and was my inspiration to begin my career as a nurse. I received my ADN from Clinton Community College in 2014 and then went on to receive my MSN this past year in 2019. I am a clinical leader on a post-trauma/surgical unit, where I have worked for the past 4 years and love my job.
Mother & Wife
My husband, Owen, & I got married in 2016 in Lake Placid, NY. We moved to Charleston, SC from NY in 2015 and now have 2 beautiful boys. Noah is 3 years old and Landon is 3 months old. I love being a wife and mother to this beautiful family of mine, nothing fills my heart more.
Fashion & Beauty
I have loved everything fashion and beauty since I was about 10 years old. I can remember putting on my grandmother’s bright pink lipstick at a very young age and my dad taught how to drive a stick shift wearing high heel shoes! I love to get glammed up and all things that glitter and shine.
