Fussey, Party of Four!

August 8, 2020

On May 15, 2020 at 8:23pm, little Landon Fussey was born. His big brother, Noah, who is 3, is just infatuated with him! What a whirlwind of emotions it has been bringing a baby into this world during a pandemic. My husband was not allowed at any of my doctor visits and was the only one allowed in the hospital room with me when Landon was born. We do not have any family that lives here in South Carolina, so my parents were planning to come from New York and stay with us for a few weeks like they did when Noah was born, but with Landon being born during a high point in the Pandemic, we all felt that it was safer if they stay put until things calm down with the pandemic. My mother and father-in-law were also not able to come and stay with us and meet their new grandson because they live on a small Caribbean island and their borders were shut down, with no one being allowed on or off the island. Fast forward almost 3 months later, and we still have not been able to have any family visit us due to the pandemic. My heart is broken and I cannot help but feel robbed due to this pandemic. But at the same time, I am very thankful that all of our friends and family have been safe and healthy throughout this pandemic. We have high hopes that our family will be able to travel again soon and finally get to meet the 4th member of our sweet little Fussey clan!
